UPMC Sunset Music Series

See you at Beach 1!
The UPMC Sunset Music Series returns to Beach 1, bringing six evenings of live music directly onto the sand at Presque Isle State Park.
Presented by UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Hamot and hosted by the Presque Isle Partnership, the free weekly concert series takes place every Wednesday from June 17 through July 22 from 5:30 PM until sunset.
The return to Beach 1 brings the series back to the heart of Presque Isle’s shoreline experience — sand beneath your feet, music in the air, and sunsets that remind you just how special Erie truly is.
Each evening features:
- Free live performances
- Food trucks and refreshments
- Extended swimming hours
- Hoop playshops
- Weekly raffles benefiting Presque Isle
- ADA beach accessibility via mobility mats funded through public donations
Series Finale: Giant Beach Bonfire
The final concert on July 22, 2026 will conclude with the annual Discover Presque Isle Giant Beach Bonfire at Beach 1.
The bonfire will be lit at approximately 8:50 PM and continue through 10:00 PM, creating a memorable summer finale along the shoreline of Lake Erie.
Shuttle Service Available
To help improve access to Beach 1 during concert evenings, EMTA Route 33: Presque Isle Express will provide shuttle service from the Tom Ridge Environmental Center to Beach 1 every 20 minutes beginning at 3:30 PM.
Route 33 operates Wednesdays and Saturdays from May 30 through August 19.
