Winter Discovery Day is all about getting outside and experiencing the unique offerings that winter provides! We've teamed up with our partners to offer opportunities to enjoy any of the following winter activities and mainstays at the Waterworks Area on Presque Isle:
- Food by Underdog BBQ ($) @ Rotary Pavilion
- Hot Chocolate ($) @ Rotary Pavilion
- Fishing @ Rotary Pavilion - with S.O.N.S of Lake Erie - No fishing license required/equipment is provided (ice fishing if ice is safe)
- Sled Dog Demonstrations @ Rotary Pavilion - with Red Sky Working Siberians
- Presque Isle Lighthouse Open - 11am-3pm - Valentine craft and hot beverages available
- *Horse Drawn Wagon Rides* ($3) @ Rotary Pavilion - with John May Farm Activities
- Animal Feeder Craft Activity @ Shelter #1 - with Presque Isle Partnership volunteers
- *Snow Shoe Tryouts* @ Rotary Pavilion - with DCNR Environmental Education Specialists
- Winter Survival Techniques @ Rotary Pavilion - with DCNR Environmental Education Specialists
- *Cross Country Ski Rentals* ($) @ Shelter #3 - with The Yellow Bike Rental Company
