Presque Isle Lights
Fri. - Sun. in December

ABOUT US
Welcome to the 4th annual Presque Isle Lights! We are Presque Isle Partnership, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to complete projects and programs on the park that are funded by your generous donations.
WHAT IS PRESQUE ISLE LIGHTS?
Presque Isle Lights is an evening drive-thru tour of seasonal lights at Presque Isle State Park. Keeping with the tradition, iconic park buildings and recreation areas will be adorned in seasonal lights, and we will be sprinkling in some new displays as well! Come drive though and enjoy Presque Isle’s enhanced holiday beauty this December and please consider a donation. Tune in to CLASSY 100 for your favorite Christmas hits while you enjoy Presque Isle after dark.
WHAT IS THE COST?

Entry is free. Please consider making a suggested $5 donation per vehicle that supports future park improvement projects and community events. When donate, you'll receive a Presque Isle Lights commemorative button. By registering the number on the back of your button, you become eligible for a $1,000 Country Fair gas card drawn on January 5, 2024.
WHEN ARE LIGHTS ON?
Lights are turned ON Friday - Sunday throughout December at 6pm and the park gates close at 9pm, weather dependent. Visitors must be through the entrance gates by 9pm to drive around the park. The chart below specifies dates & hours of operation, and when you can see ALL or MOST of the lights, donate, and get hot cocoa.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Iconic park areas featuring lights and displays will include the Stull Interpretive Center, Ranger Station, Waterworks picnic shelters, Presque Isle Lighthouse, and Lagoons to name a few. Our volunteers and friends at Penelec have worked hard to develop a tasteful display that highlights Presque Isle’s natural beauty and is respectful of the environment. Along the way you will encounter the following from the comfort and safety of your vehicle:
- the natural beauty of Presque Isle after dark
- illuminated areas where power is available
- a decorated historic Lighthouse
- the brightly shining Erie skyline seen from across Presque Isle Bay
- and plenty of darkness in between - the park is about 3,200 acres and there is only one power line running through it
