The Presque Isle Partnership would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all those who supported and participated in the 6^th Annual Walk to Make a Great Park Better on Sunday, October 14^th, 2007.

We are proud to report that over 225 walkers raised $5,000.00 for the support of Presque Isle State Park and scholarships in honor of Dave Hanlon, former McDowell Intermediate Assistant Principal.

Participants enjoyed spectacular fall weather, great food and live music by Sam Hyman at a picnic following the 5K Walk at Presque Isle.

It is with the support and generosity of our community members that enable our organization to continue in our mission and make Presque Isle State Park, the crown jewel of our region, an even better park for all to enjoy.
