This state-of-the art green facility is a one-of-a-kind attraction for the Great Lakes Region and is the perfect educational field trip experience.

Every aspect of the center is integrated into the educational program, and encourages visitors to:

• LOOK: Experience a Lake Erie sunrise and sunset as you journey through the four seasons of Presque Isle during a 15 minute orientation film to the peninsula and its flora, fauna, and history.
• DISCOVER: Get your first glimpse into all that is Presque Isle by taking a self-guided tour through the whimsical and interactive exhibits which highlight the cultural and natural wonders of the park and the surrounding area.
• WONDER:  Be a part of the action in the Big Green Screen theatre, showing entertaining and amazing, larger than life, films daily.
• EXPLORE: Uncover the hidden mysteries of the peninsula during a real exploration of this “wild” place -- an interactive and exciting program from the people who know the park best.
• MUNCH: Tempt your taste buds with lunch at the Sunset café.
• SHOP: Browse the Nature Shop for your favorite souvenirs or natural items.

Our trained staff will guide your students or group through these experiences, and immerse them in the wonders of the Presque Isle peninsula during an educational program.  The NEW Presque Isle Curriculum includes an onsite lesson that allows the student to get up close and personal with the natural and cultural history of the park.

Meets PA State Standards!  The pre and post lessons for teachers to share with their students are correlated with the PA State Standards.  They are fun, entertaining and educational - of course!
