The Presque Isle Partnership began in 1994 in an effort to make Presque Isle State Park a better park. The organization works to improve the environment and educate the public on the value of the park's delicate ecosystem.
Our Mission
The Presque Isle Partnership works to protect, preserve and enhance the park - to make it a better place for all users and for all those interested in preserving our natural environment.
The Presque Isle Partnership picks up where the State of Pennsylvania leaves off, taking on projects that are important to the park but do not fit into the state's budget. With the support of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, we fund capital improvements, educational programs and ecological projects. All money raised by the Presque Isle Partnership stays in the local community and is directly used for park improvements. We possess the advantage of being able to react quickly to park needs and move forward at reasonable costs to effect change.
