Stull Interpretive Center

The Stull Interpretive Center is a great place to stop during your visit to Presque Isle. It is located near Barracks Beach. The Stull Interpretive Center has additional exhibits on the ecological succession of the sand spit and the natural and man-made forces that continue to shape Presque Isle. Other displays depict the park's impressive inventory of birds, plants and flowers. The Stull Interpretive Center can be reached at (814) 833-0351.

Educational Kiosks

Visit our newest educational kiosks located at the Perry Monument. This new kiosk provide visitors with a series of educational panels depicting the role P.I. played in the War of 1812.

The Lighthouse kiosk is located adjacent to the P.I. Lighthouse and details the importance lighthouses played in Maritime History of this region. This kiosk chronicles hardships endured by keepers of the Presque Isle Lighthouse.

Invasive Species Project

Invasive plant species are one of the biggest threats to the biodiversity of Presque Isle State Park. By their nature, invasive plants move into an area and crowd out rare and valuable native plants and, as in the case of phragmites, turn an area into a monoculture - an area dominated by a single species.
