WELCOME to the new Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) located at the entrance to Presque Isle State Park!  TREC opened Memorial Day Weekend 2006 and is projected to be one of them most visited attractions in the region!  TREC offers visitors an insight to what then can expect to experience at Presque Isle State Park and the surrounding Great Lakes Region.  Combining a state-of-the-art “green” facility with interactive exhibits, entertaining films, rotating exhibits, specialized programs, lectures, classroom education, research, dining, shopping and Artists in residence, visitors will always find TREC an exciting place to visit.  Fun for all ages!

Outdoor Educational Programs Print

Outdoor Educational Programs allow groups the opportunity to learn additional details about the ecosystem and related subjects of Presque Isle State Park.  Guided park tours available. Contact Group Sales at (814) 833-6050 for more information. 

 
Motorcoach Groups Print
The Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) is a perfect stop for Senior, Church and Youth Groups.  Choose from one of our suggested itineraries of create your own!  

Advance reservations for groups visiting TREC are suggested to guarantee the group is able to experience TREC and the exhibits together as one group.   Capacity limitations for certain areas may apply.
