Tom Ridge Environmental Center: On the Big Green Screen at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, the “Wildlife Film Festival” continues on Friday, January 19, 2007 beginning at 6:30 pm. A suggested donation of $2.00 per person is requested.
Featured at this second showing are: “Life of Mammals: Plant Predators” – Discover how eating plants has presented one of the greatest challenges to the life of mammals known as Herbivores “Cats Under Serengeti Stars” – Discover a night in the Serengeti with the aid of infrared photography and get a rare glimpse of these night creatures - caracal, wildcat, serval, lion, leopard and aardvark - in action. In addition to the great movies, we are keeping the Nature Shop & Sunset Café’ open until 6:30 pm that night. So come early to shop or enjoy a tasty pizza prior to the movies. The theater was sold out at the first showing of these remarkable wild life films. Michael Mumau, General Manager of TREC and Tracy Graziano, Wildlife Cinematographer, will be available at 6:00 before the showing of the first film to answer any questions you might have. Treat yourself to some wonderful extraordinary wildlife experiences.
